Rusty Jackson, father of VFW Post 3383 Commander Shawn Jackson, was very badly injured in a work-related accident today. He has lost an arm and may lose a leg. He also has severe internal damage. Dept. President Cindy Painter had major surgery on Wednesday, November 3rd. Due to this situation, her Homecoming has been cancelled this Saturday, November 6th. Updates on Cindy will be posted as they come in.

Jerry White, husband of PDP Janet White, has been having trouble with his left foot and went to the Dr. yesterday and to the hospital today for tests. They did not come out very well. He has two 100% blocks in his left leg. They will try to operate either next week or at least by November 8th. He is to get home tomorrow and then will go to see the surgeon on Tuesday.

Don"Bubba"Abbott

Don "Bubba" Abbott, husband of D4 President Becky, was taken to the hospital on Sunday with a throat problem and he couldn't swallow. Doctors did a procedure to help remove the infection and some scar tissue from the trache he had done last year. Everything looks good & he may be able to come home tomorrow. They are waiting for the biopsy to come back. Please keep Bubba in your prayers. Cards can be sent to:
